Laura is highly trained as a traditional acupuncturist and sports massage therapist. She qualified in acupuncture with a BSc (Hons) degree from the renowned College of Integrated Chinese Medicine in Reading. Her practice integrates two styles of acupuncture – Five Element Acupuncture and Traditional Chinese Medicine. She has also gained a distinction in massage from the London School of Sports Massage and a BSc (Hons) degree in Physiological Science from the University of Bristol.
Hence Laura integrates principles drawn from western and Chinese medicine to return her patients to optimum health. With a professional and expert touch she combines acupuncture, massage, cupping, guasha and moxabustion, tailoring the treatment to her client’s needs. Laura is particularly interested in how psychological and emotional suffering can manifest physiologically and draws on yoga, qi gong, meditation and breath work to treat the body. She has much experience treating musculoskeletal injuries and complaints and has a passionate interest and vast experience in supporting women on their fertility journey – her treatments support natural or assisted conception such as IUI, IVF, or egg donation preparation and she can support you throughout pregnancy and help naturally induce and prepare the body for labour. She also believes strongly in the importance of nutrition for health and well-being, hence employs Chinese theory on the energetics of food, offering a holistic treatment to improve the vitality of the mind, body and spirit.

These Codes ensure that patients are offered the highest standards of professional care during their treatment.
